Ky-Mani Marley, one of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae artists was born on February 26, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He starred in the cult legendary film Shottas with another famous singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records for his 1996 debut album Like Father Like Son album and singles like Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the top single on the British reggae chart), Who The Cap (remix), Sensimelia and many more contributed to the rising recognition for the new reggae of his generation. Ky-Mani was also a part of Praswell and Fugees (as members of Avenue), a popular song of Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue came out in 1997. Marley was first seen in Miami in the Midem Theatre. Midem. Marley played a live set in the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcasted by Caribbean News Agency across 36 nations. Marley's name became the topic of a bidding war.
