Kim Delaney (born Kim Delaney) is an American actor who is best known for portraying detective Diane Russell in ABCs NYPD Blue, for which she won the Emmy Award. Her other credits include her roles in the drama series All My Children Philly CSI: Miami as well as Army Wives. Delaney has a father who was an executive at the United Auto Workers who was also an auntie. Delaney has four older brothers.
